Ooh ooh ooh! I feel quite happy today – I never expected to reach 100 posts, let alone 100 posts within my first year of blogging! 
I don’t know why, but I am almost like a little kid posting this 
Even before I started blogging, I read and followed a lot of blogs. However, since 29 May 2008, I have found many more bloggers who write incredible stuff, and have to a certain degree acted as inspiration to me during those times when I have struggled to write anything, or when I have been trying to pull through in difficult times in life. So to celebrate this 100th post, I have picked 10 of my favourite blogs out of the 70 or so blogs which I try and follow.
These are the Cookie Monster top 10 blogs of the year (in no particular order)…. (as adjudicated by the cast of Sesame Street).

I started following your blog because of the amount of traffic I get from you. I didn’t read a lot of the past posts (bad habit), so for whatever reason I thought you were a guy…. Until you posted about pms one day – and I had a Charlie Harper moment (he of 2 & 1/2 men, & he goes oooh…. when he gets surprised)

But in all honesty, a little bit of the motivation to actually start a blog and write could have come from reading your stuff. Also I love it when you get critical, you write well when you get bitchy
