46….

Week 45 was just something else – I guess it was the most unique and amazing week in all 26 years of my existence. 46 is the week which begins on the 10th of November 2008, and for whatever reason, I am really really looking forward to it. And maybe….. this is why….

I YouTube’d some Barack Obama speeches this weekend (I am now bordering on fanaticism), and MAN can that guy deliver! I agree that he has some genii writing his material, but you still have to deliver it right? The reason why I want to highlight this video is because it culminates what this guy is all about.

I was catching up on last week (because besides election night, I kinda lost track of the week), and I knew that Virginia and Missouri were too close to call as off sometime last week. I stumbled across an article which kind of surprised me; the Democrats won another Republican stronghold – Virginia.  I dug around a little more, and found this video. Just watch the hold thing, OK? I know that it is 14 minutes long – but maybe my words cannot express what Obama is all about.

The video is of his last rally of the campaign. It took place in Virginia; and if you read his books, you will relate his speech to his campaign to become a Senator. His speech in this video culminates all the best qualities that Barack Obama has. What I love about this video is the history which stands behind his victory in Virginia. The Democrats have won this state for the first time since Lyndon Johnson 40 years ago.

About 9 minutes into this video, Obama narrates a story from his campaign trail. Watch the video, listen to the story, and then feel yourself uplifted, and the speech probably answers why Virginia voted Blue.

My question to you after you watch the video – I know it’s Monday, and I know starts to the week can be tough…… but are you FIRED UP? Are you READY TO GO?
